The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, clearly states our common goal of safe and healthful working conditions as a top priority for Award Staffing.
Safety and health in our business must be part of every operation. Without question, safety is every employee's responsibility at all levels.
It is Award Staffing’s intent to comply with all OSHA laws. To do this, we must constantly be aware of conditions in all work areas that can produce illness or injury. No employee is required to work at a job he/she knows is not safe or healthful. Your cooperation in detecting hazards and, in turn, reporting them, is a very important piece of this. Please inform your supervisor and Award Staffing immediately of any situation that you believe is unsafe, or if you prefer to remain anonymous please report the concerns through our online portal, and your concerns will be investigated and addressed immediately.
OSHA’s whistleblower statutes protect you from retaliation for reporting your concerns. An employer cannot retaliate by taking "adverse action" against workers who report injuries, safety concerns, or other protected activity.
